The official Oneshar.es for Android app is now live in the Android Market — Featuring the same 2 step process for sharing confidential information as our iPhone app. Now Android users can securely create and share private information from their Android phones and tablets. Two additional features we added was copying the URL to the device’s clipboard to send socially or with the click of a button, it will compose a message ready to be sent to the recipient.

After the successful launch of the Oneshar.es web site, Cando followed up with the mobile version. The iOS app for Oneshar.es was just released on the Apple App Store. Town Radar for iPhone

We share a lot of things in our daily lives — whether through social networks, email or IM. Sharing is natural. The problem arises when we share sensitive information with others.

We easily send emails with usernames, passwords or other important information to our friends, co-workers and clients without thinking. Its simple and quick to do and we tend to trust those we share this information with.

However, there are always digital traces left behind that we never think about. You just emailed your wife the pin number to your ATM account. Was the emailed deleted or is it still in her inbox? Or how about the username and password to a new site you’ve just built for a client that was sent to them. Do they still have it sitting in their inbox?

This is how the site was born. Provide the ability to send private information to someone else and know that once they’ve read it, its deleted.

The Roots

The Roots are legendary. The band, formed in 1987 by Tariq “Black Thought” Trotter and Ahmir “?uestlove” Thompson in Philadelphia have a career that spans longer than the lives of most of their fan base. They’ve worked with artists throughout their career including John Legend, Roy Ayers, Jennifer Hudson, Chrisette Michele, Common, Mos Def, Saigon, Styles P, Talib Kweli, Wale, Dice Raw, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Peedi Crakk and many others.

With the release of their 13th studio album, “Undun,” via Def Jam Records on December 6, 2011, Cando was tapped by the okayplayer team to build out and scale their existing site.

Within a short period of time, Cando’s team burned through a few nights and the weekend to deliver. What is now accessible at theroots.com is a platform in which they can continue to provide their fans with more exclusive content, videos and the latest/greatest news on the band.

Coalmine Records represents the longevity of independent music, done right. Coalmine Records is part of the major relaunch and branding of the Diamond Media group of companies. Cando was tasked with building a platform where the label can effectively promote and showcase the large catalog of releases under its belt in a simple, but intuitive way.

Coalmine Records was established in 2005 by its founder & C.E.O., Matt Diamond and has quickly established itself. Based in Brooklyn, New York, over the years, Coalmine Records has amassed an extensive hip-hop catalog while working with several iconic and up-coming artists, producers and DJs such as Pharaohe Monch, El Da Sensei, Kool G. iOS to Android Mobile App Conversion

Cando Entertainment was recently tasked with the development of the Android counterpart to a client’s existing and highly successful health/fitness based iOS app. We were able to turn around the complete project within the rigorous 2 week window that we had to deliver in. In the end, the Android app was a mirror image of the iPhone version and launched into the Google Android Market in rather record time.

Twitrpix for iOS Mobile App

Cando Entertainment has developed the official TwitrPix for iOS — A native app that works equally well on almost any Apple device such as the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and iPad 2 with a nearly instant-on camera. From the moment you start the app, you are immediately ready to capture a photo. On devices without a camera (ie. iPad), you can still select a photo from the camera roll. For the latest iPhone and iPad 2, you can easily select between the front or rear-facing camera. The quick access to capturing a photo is only the start.

Everyone loves filters. Giving the photo an old, aged, or unique look is more about personalizing the photo. So we’ve included a set of 14 filters and effects so you can really make the photo your own. What makes TwitrPix for iOS unique is that you can preview thumbnails of your photos in all of the filters at once. You’re not presented with a set of canned thumbnails of someone else’s sample photo. You see your photo in every filter. Select a filter and we’ll show you the full size preview quickly.

Cando Entertainment developed the app over the course of a few weeks and launched it into the Apple App store.
