Born and raised in a cozy treehouse in Cleveland, Ohio, I flew from the upper atmosphere of that mothership funk in 1993 and landed in Brooklyn, New York. Upon arrival, I put my college degree to good use when I started earning my keep by creating awesome jingles with a few coins and a paper coffee cup on the corner of W. 22nd and 7th Ave. That job kept me happy for years. I still think that job was just a little bit more interesting than my job as a whale rider. Then came the day when I met this gangsta geek dude, Mr. Jwhiz Thompson who put me onto a new racket. So here I sit, making dope graphic design sh**, birthing digital goggle creations so that viewers of Cando’s amazing work will see all the possibilities of this new treehouse we now live in, the Internet.

Born and raised in 4 of the 5 boroughs of New York City, life’s been an interesting ride. I should have been a journalist or an artist but life took me in a completely different direction. After some exploration in my early 20′s, I started Cando with long-time friend, Walter, and 10 years later we’re still deep in New Media development. Looking back at those 10 years, I realized that we are the essence of our life’s experiences, so consider me: Son, Brother, Traveler, Husband, Father, Entreprenuer and part-time Geek.
