When people think of okayplayer, they think of The Roots, Common, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, DJ Jazzy Jeff, D’Angelo, Amy Winehouse and the list goes on. Not only is okayplayer well respected in the industry, but it has a massive online following and presence that’s spanned 10 years. Within a decade, the site has evolved to take advantage of the latest technologies and platforms. Here at Cando, we’ve worked Dan @ OKP over the years so it was exciting when we were called in. We created custom data migration tools to bring data from their previous platform (spread across numerous applications into a single, common format). Additionally, Cando provided integration support and custom programming to extend the underlying platform they were relaunching on.
